is located below the hill of the Piazzale Michelangelo, 50 meters
off from the Arno river, in the area called Oltrarno. Walking
along the river for 10 minutes you can easily reach the main museums
such as the Uffizi Gallery, and the Santa Croce Cathedral,
one of the most beatuful church in Florence. From there you can
walk towards Duomo Square to admire the Magnificent Grand Cathedral
of S. Maria del Fiore and the Campanile di Giotto...
and you can come back crossing the romantic Ponte Vecchio.
To reach the main train station there is a bus letter 23 or D
starting every 5 minutes and coming back. If you are coming for
the Pitti Immagine Fairs or any exhibition/business meetings you
can use either the bus or our complementary
Shuttle Van that goes every 30 minutes from 7.30 am to 9.00 am
to the congress center

Arriving
by car
You
can easy arrive to the hotel by car getting out of the highway
at the exit FIRENZE CERTOSA, then follow the indication to CENTRO
and PIAZZALE MICHELANGELO which is a big terrace up on the hill
with the copy of the statue of the David of Michelangelo.
As soon as you get to the Piazzale Michelangelo you keep the
same boulevard downhill and at the bottom of the hill you will
see the Hotel David on your right side.

| The
Florence airport Vespucci and the Central Railway Station S. Maria
Novella are connected every 30 minutes by the Ataf and Sita Bus
service. Ticket price € 4,00.

If you are arriving by train we suggest you to catch a taxi or
to get on the bus 23, D or 13 and get off at the stop PIAZZA FERRUCCI.
You can purchase bus tickets at tabacco-shop or news-stand. |
